MAYAKI Onimisi Adeola is from Edo State, Igarra in Akoko Edo Local Government Area. He was Born in Oyo State, Ibadan in 14^th September, 1977. He had his Primary Education in Ibadan, Emmanuel Primary School and Secondary Education in Apapa Odan Community High School, Ibadan, Oyo State. For his tertiary education, He attended Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma, Edo State for both Diploma in Accounting Education and Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He had his National Youth Service Corp in 2002, where he served in Imo State. He became an Associate Member (AMNIM) of Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) in 2005 and also an Associate Member (ACA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in 2016. Before he became a member of staff of University of Ibadan, he has worked as a Marketing Executive with African People Health Plan, Allen Avenue, Lagos in 2004 and also worked as Account Teacher in Walbrook College Samonda, Ibadan from 2003 to 2004. He was employed in Bursary Department, University of Ibadan in December 2004 as an Accountant II. As an Accountant II, his first place of assignment was in Grants Section of Bursary Department. While in Grants Section, He was promoted to Accountant I in 2007 and was promoted again to a Senior Accountant in 2010. In 2011, he was posted to Final Account Section of Bursary Department where he worked till 2016 before being posted to Head Expenditure Control Unit of Bursary Department till date. From 2016 till date, he was promoted to Principal Accountant in 2016 and in 2020, he was promoted to a Chief Accountant. Since his first posting in Grants Section till date, he has attended several trainings and workshops which had gone a long way to facilitate his performance on the job including in-house trainings. While he was still serving in Final Account, he was nominated as the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) Account Officer in 2013 along side with his statutory assignment in Final Account Section. Till date, he still serves as the TETFUND Account Officer.
